Mr Njase said the occurred on Tuesday last week between 08:00 hours 12:00 hours at Poya village and the victim was buried on Wednesday before the report was made to the police.

According to Mr Njase, the boy had sustained a fracture on the forehead and bruises on both cheeks as a result of the beating.
