Particulars of the offence are that Mudenda unlawfully possessed 1 Carcass of Bushbuck and 1 carcass common Duiker without a certificate of ownership or license issued in respect thereof.

The incident happened on 7th June 2020 in Choma District of Southern Province.

When the matter came up for Facts before Senior Resident Magistrate Idah Mupemo, the accused person was present but in a sombre mood.

According to the Facts stated by Public Prosecutor Person Chilumbu, the accused was apprehended by Game Rangers of Bruce Miller Farms after his accomplice fled the scene leaving the Bicycle.

This was after the Rangers saw them carrying the Game Meat.

Mudenda was then taken to the Department Wildlife and National Parks Office where he was charged and arrested before his Court appearance.

After the Facts were read to him, Mudenda admitted that the statement was matching what happened on that fateful day.

In passing the sentence Magistrate Mupemo observed the facts that he was a first offender and of youthful age.
