Suspected mkushi defiler on the run

A MKUSHI man is on the run after he allegedly defiled an 11 year old girl that was left in his care after parents left town.

Central province Police Commissioner Chola Katanga confirmed the incident to The Lusaka Sun in an interview.

Mr. Katanga identified the defiler as Peter Daka of Chief Chitina in Mkushi.

Commissioner Katanga said the defilement occurred on January 11 around 01:00hours and reported to Police on January 17, 2019 by the father  to the victim.

Mr. Katanga said brief facts were that, the victim was left home by the parents who went to Lusaka for a visit.

He said on the fateful day, the accused person entered the’deserted’  house and took advantage of the girl and had canal knowledge of her.

” I can confirm the defilement. This occurred on January 11,2019 around 01:00hours. The parents reported the case to Police on January 17,2019 when they came back from Lusaka and  medical report has been issued,” Mr. Katanga said.
