LUSAKA Automotive Futsal Academy coach Andrea Christoforetti says defending the Premier Futsal League PFL will not be easy because teams have really improved. In an interview, Christoforetti said his team will face stiff competitions from teams like Kabwe K-line and Kitwe Bullets who have been impressive after the first two rounds of the league.Christoforetti said Automotive who dominated the 2019/2020 PFL which was declared null and void due to the Covid-19 pandemic, have made a number of changes which has seen the team engaging new players for the 2020/2021 futsal season.Automotive thumped DC Isoka 6-0 on Saturday and Christoforetti believes the 2018/2019 futsal champions need to improve further as the league advances.“Defending the title won’t be easy we are a team that trains, for a long time we have been training professionally so we have this advantage but it doesn’t guarantee us the title defense.“We did change a lot we have new players in the team I’m letting young players to have more game time and experience needed to compete so it is not going to be easy the last game we played showed that the league will be tough,” Christoforetti said.“The competition this year will be good. The team we played against, Isoka has potential to get to the end of the championship.”He said Kitwe Bullets who are yet to record any defeat since the league commenced two weeks ago is likely reach the semifinals having started on a bright note with two consecutive wins.

Christoforetti noted that the league has continues to develop with great competition among clubs in both the first division and the PFL.
