Former National team goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata is looking forward to rekindling his career at his newly signed club Zesco United Football Club.

According to the club website, Nsabata has described his move to the former league champions as another big milestone in his career as a goalkeeper.

The former Zanaco Football Club shot stopper has his eyes fixed on bring competition between the Zesco United sticks.

Nsabata says that he hopes to use his move to the Ndola side to reignite his chances of returning his place at the National team.

“I am a very ambitious person who has played football at the national team and also for Zanaco. As such I need to bring competition and the necessary experience to this great club. The club and supporters also expects a lot from me, especially as they are used to winning titles,” Nsabata said.

“When you play for a big club like Zesco United, expect yourself to be in the spotlight. Coming here gives me a great opportunity to return my position at the senior national team. However, I will need to work extra hard by performing very well here.”

The 27-year old goalkeeper has re-united with former Zanaco and now Zesco United head coach Numba Mumamba.

Nsabata is expected to provide perfect cover for Ntibahezwa Deioudonne who left the club this month.
