Mozo TV launches in Zambia

A new television station with a dedicated mission to showcase Africa’s unique lifestyle, politics and economics has been launched in Zambia.

Mozo TV Zambia which was born four years ago was officially launched on Saturday night  in Lusaka at a very colourful ceremony held at Mozo TV offices in Rhodes Park. The station which is aimed at promoting African content is a subsidiary of Oats Consultancy headed by Nana Yaw Obiri Yeboah.

Mozo TV now on Top Star is set to develop content that will highlight various aspects of African lifestyle. Already, a number of programmes and shows are lined up for airing most of which will expose Zambia’s unique talent to the outside world.

This is why the official launch was graced by some of Zambia’s great talents who will be part of the producion team at Mozo TV. Notable among them is Jeff Mwanza aka Jekafela, Bobby East and photographer Kabovelo. Some of the great shows to look out for at Mozo TV include ‘Ba Guy Guy’, ‘ the Breakfast show, ‘ and ‘ others aimed at sharing stories around communities. It will have great news features, entertainment, fashion and cookery.

“The aim is to make Mozo TV become a household name in Zambia and beyond, “ said Nana.

The official launch was organised by Platinum Events. Mozo TV will cut across Africa and its content will come from many partnering countries.
