This was in a matter before magistrate Martha Miti was Frank Haameja and Stinda Chiboola accused of unlawful possession of prescribed trophy namely elephant Ivory. When the matter came up for continued defence on Thursday, Haameja 40 of Kanyama said he sells onions and other goods at Soweto market and that on August 22, Stinda Chiboola called him.He said he told him that he was at Chitanda Village and Chiboola told him he was admitted at Kanyama hospital. When he visited Chiboola at his home, he explained that he had diarrhea. He said when two men came to see Chiboola, he said his goodbyes and walked out of the house.Haameja said before he could reach the road, a vehicle stopped by and asked him where he was going. He said he was apprehended together with Chiboola and the two men who came to visit. He said they were taken to Chilanga and Mr. Muchau Muchau brought a bag of Ivory and explained why they had been apprehended. He was told that the other two men were released because they were undercover officers. He said he did not know anything about the ivory in the bag and nothing was found on him.
He said the two men were the ones who came with the bag which he came to know contained ivory.
