AS the week came to a close the peoples most favourite Mayor on social media shines the light on sports and fitness with a sign up of 2012 Africa Cup of Nations captain Christopher Katongo, empowering a washing entrepreneur with a bicycle, Boba Cadet tennis and a session of yoga.
Mayor of Lusaka Miles Sampa continues to use the social media platform and Boba TV to promote budding entrepreneurs as well as extending a helping hand to those in need.
THE MAYOR SAIDThis afternoon the Xtra-Miles Academy and the Christopher Katongo Academy signed a 2 year MOU (memorandum of understanding) to work together to develop football skills in the youths of Lusaka City.Chris is a former Zambia National team (Chipolopolo) national team player and captain that lifted the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon. Our goal is to develop soccer skills from young age and be able to export polished young players to Europe and in particular to Barcelona FC, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal.
