A COMBINED team of officers from Zesco and the Zambia Police in Livingstone apprehended Francis Kaumba , aged 29yrs ,of Livingstone ‘s Libuyu Compound a month ago for impersonating a Human Resources officer and Obtaining Money by false pretenses from more than 20 unsuspecting people with a view to employing them in Zesco as Stores and Field workers.He appeared before William Banda in Livingstone’ Magistrate Court and was found guilty of the offences and sentenced to 24 months imprisonment with Hard Labor.Zesco engaged the young man in counselling and certainly hope that he will be a changed/ better person after 24 months.
A month ago, several people thronged the Zesco offices in Livingstone demanding for jobs with forged letters of appointment. -ZESCO
