Radio personality DJ Foxx has launched a youth-led conversation on Covid-19 on Itezhi -tezhi Radio to counter misinformation on the Coronavirus.

The lively show features authentic local voices from Itezhi-tezhi who have information on Covid-19.

“We guests from local entertainers sharing the impact of Covid-19 on their livelihoods due to the ban on public gatherings and the closure of clubs, to local health officials giving out life-saving information. The show seeks to have a candid conversation on stories of survival amid the corona virus pandemic,” he says.

Launched officially in mid April, the show has become one of the trusted sources of information on Covid-19 featuring the Ministry of Health and other credible voices such as leaders of local non governmental organisations.

The show dissects Covid-19 and it’s impact on various communities, companies and industries and shares accurate and verified information to counter some of the fake news floating around especially on social media.
