The alleged theft is said to have occurred on 16th April 2020 in ChomaDistrict of Southern Province.

When matter came up for trial before Senior Resident Magistrate IdahMupemo , the accused person applied for an adjournment .

His application for adjournment came shortly after the State indicated that they were ready to proceed with trial and had lined up two witnesses to testify against him.

Sikazwa told the Court that he was not ready as his defense Counsel was not before Court.

Despite the accused’s Lawyer filing in a motion of adjournment late, Magistrate Mupemo granted the application.

The matter was adjourned to 10 June 2020 for trial
