GREEN Buffaloes thrashed defending Zambia Super League Champions, Nkana 5-0 as Buildcon beat Napsa Stars to move top of the 2020/2021 MTN/FAZ Super League log on Wednesday afternoon.

Continental bound clubs on Wednesday afternoon returned to action with brought forward Week 4 and Week 5 games to avoid the congestion of fixtures ahead of their CAF Inter-clubs Competitions engagements. At Nkoloma Stadium, Green Buffaloes welcomed defending Champions Nkana in what was the match of the day. The hosts showed dominance from early on and took the lead just after 26 minutes, Friday Samu with the goal. Samu struck again nine minutes into the second half to double the lead and before Martin Phiri could make it three-nil four minutes later. The match was then halted after a Nkana fan invaded the pitch, confronted Manfred Chabinga, and punched him, an exchange of punches followed before the police officers could intervene. Chabinga received a red card for his troubles and the match resumed.Frederick Mwimanzi and Youremember Banda added a goal each to widen the gap between the two teams and complete Nkana’s humiliation. At Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Former Lusaka Dynamos duo of striker Conlyde ‘Golden Boy’ Luchanga and winger Mwansa Nsofwa scored a goal each to help Buildcon to a 2-0 win over Napsa Stars. At President’s Stadium, Prison Leopards shocked Green Eagles 1-0 thanks to an early goal from Francis Zulu.At Khosa Stadium, It was a goalless draw as both Forest Rangers and Young Green Eagles failed to utilise their chances in front of a sizable Kafue crowd that celebrated their return to the pitch with a lot of singing and dancing.ZAMBIAN SUPER LEAGUE RESCHEDULED WEEK 4 & 5 FULL-TIME RESULTSGreen Buffaloes 5 – 0 Nkana(Friday Samu 26′ 54′ Martin Phiri 58′ Fredrick Mwimanzi 88′ Youremember Banda 90+4)Buildcon 2 – 0 Napsa Stars(Conlyde Luchanga 69′ Mwansa Naofwa 90+1)Prison Leopards 1 – 0 Green Eagles(Francis Zulu 2′)
