A POLICE Officer has shown a bloody stained dress in the Choma Fast Track Court for Gender Based Violence belonging to a 9 years old alleged to have been brutally defiled by a 33 years old Gardener.

In this matter Foster Vwavwa of Chufwipa Village in Choma is charged with Defilement of a child contrary to the Laws of Zambia.Allegations are that Vwavwa on September 21, in Choma had unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl below the age 16.When he appeared for continued trial before Court, Resident Magistrate Ethel Phiri found him with a case to answer after woman constable Saikolo Karen from Victim Support Unit testified on how she arrived at charging the accused person.Saikolo testified that, after being allocated the Docket, she booked out to the scene of the crime in the company of Vwavwa and the victim where the gory dress she presented as evidence was recovered. She testified that the scene of crime had foot print markings of an adult and a child. But when Vwavwa was placed on his defense, he disputed the allegations leveled against him and stated that he only had a meal with the girl.

The matter will come up today Friday 4 for Judgment.
