CONGOLESE forward Chris Mushitmba Kopa Mugalu has completed his switch to Tanzanian giants Simba SC, marking yet another international sign-up from Zambia’s premier league
Last week, Chipolopolo midfielder Larry Bwalya was unveiled at Simba SC following his successful sign up of a three-year deal leaving Kitwe giants Power Dynamos.
The left-footed midfield ace leaves Aba Yellow after a five and half year stint that saw him become the club’s most valuable asset.
Simba SC confirmed the successful transfer of Mugalu from Lusaka Dynamos FC on their official website.
Simba’s rosta of Zambian talent is getting longer with the duo following in the footsteps of arguably East Africa’s most valuable player Clatous Chota Chama.
Mugalu joins former teammate Chama who left Lusaka Dynamos in 2018 to join Wekundu wa Msimbazi on a three-year dela, although details are yet to be disclosed.
He is the second player from the Zambia Super League to join the Tanzanian outfit within 24 hours and is the seventh player Simba has acquired since the season came to a close. The other is Kenyan defender Joash Onyango, Winger Bernard Morrison, and Tanzanian trio of David Kameta, Charles Ilamfia, and Ibrahim Ame. – ZAMFOOT.
