IN a rare turn of events, Real Nakonde Football Club is set to bounce back and play super league football in the 2019 season having briefly been demoted back to Division 1 by the ethics committee of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).
A well-placed source at FAZ revealed to The Sun that the surprise bounce back of Real Nakonde FC to the Super League follows an apology from Kateshi Football Club at a case hearing held at Football House last week.
Media reports quoted FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala saying that he had not yet received communication from Real Nakonde FC regarding its complaint against Kateshi Football Club for featuring an ineligible player.
Efforts to confirm the new development from FAZ Communications Manager Desmond Katongo proved futile as his phone was unreachable while that of General Secretary Adrian Kashala went unanswered.
FAZ is yet to release official communication on the case involving Real Nakonde FC and Kateshi Football Club.
