Musician Stanley Mununga musically known as Stan Gee of Ndola is a budding artiste setting his mark in the music circles.
The upcoming dancehall sensation who records his music at Next Level Studios in Masala Mangwana in Ndola has become the first music artiste to be signed by Fanike Media which has talented acts like comedians Collins Zulu, Winston IDC the President and Ken Dumbo.The artiste has been doing music since 2014. In 2014, he released a track tilted ‘Ama Rhymes Yama No’ which featured Chef 187, My Prayer, and Paranoid. In 2015 he went quiet to concentrate on school at Lukashya Trades where he did Power Electric.Later, in 2017, he did a song titled ‘Mulendekafye’ which was followed by ‘Eeeh Life Mfwaya’ in 2018 and in 2019 he released another single titled ‘Wimpanga busy.’Recently, the artiste who is happy to be under Fanike Media offloaded songs tilted ‘Heal Mother Zambia’ and ‘Ntambafye’. These songs were produced by Shy Kid and Cly T at Next Level Studios. These are songs the singer is promoting and so far he has gotten encouraging feedback.He grew up listening to local stars such as late Crystal Shawn, Jordan Impi and Daddy Zeemus. Internationally, his music has been influenced by Big Signal from Jamaica and Stone Boy from Ghana. “These people really inspired me,” he always says.His newly- released song ‘Ntambafye is based on a true story .“This story happened to a close friend that inspired me to write the song,” he adds.With the promotion from Fanike Media so far, the song is proving to be a story that many people easily relate to.” Most of the songs I have done are real issue-based. There is so much that happens around us in our communities that inspire me to put it into music,” he says.“People should expect more collaboration with big artistes and good videos. “To his fellow upcoming artistes, he says, ” let’s give people good content, trust the process to get to the top.”Meanwhile, Fanike Media management is glad to add another talent to the family which is becoming big.“We shall use our right contact to promote the artiste and his music.
