THE Choma Fast Track Court for Gender Based Violence has set a date for judgment in which a 33 years old man touched his Aunt’s breast without her consent.Resident Magistrate Ethel Phiri set December 4 as the day on which Adrian Muleya will know his fate in the matter he is charged with Indecent Assault on a female contrary to the Laws of Zambia.Allegations are that Muleya on September 14, in Choma unlawfully and wilfully indecently assaulted his Uncle’s wife without her consent.According to the victim’s testimony earlier, Muleya trailed her around 19hrs when she disembarked from the Bus, and touched her breast. When he appeared for ruling before Court, Magistrate Phiri found him with a case to answer after she was satisfied that a prima facie case has been established against him by the State. In his defense, Muleya vehemently denied ever touching his Aunt inappropriately he accused her of wanting to make his life difficult because her Pigs eat from his field and such the two have been at loggerheads. But in cross examination by Public Prosecutor Gerald Tembo, the accused person denied ever mentioning the issue of the Pigs to the Police.
Judgment comes up on December 4 and Muleya is still in custody.
