IT is a rare opportunity to be brought to a ship that is moving well and I’m confident that the team will maintain last season’s form and bring honours to Zambia, newly appointed Napsa Stars technical director Honor Janza has said.
And Janza says reuniting with his former national team player Emmanuel Mayuka was exciting as it brought fond memories. He says his appointment is a rare opportunity as most clubs only want to recruit personnel when things are not going well which was not the case with The Pensioners.Janza emphasised that being on the administration side, he would bring in his knowledge and expertise so that together with the technical bench they can move the club forward. And Janza says reuniting with Mayuka at Napsa Stars had brought him a lot of nostalgia and that he was happy that the player was back into shape.“It is another exciting moment and it reminds me of a lot of things when I saw him today (Mayuka) during the meeting with the team and I’m happy for him that he still has his boots on his legs and I want to appreciate Napsa for having opened doors for him because these are boys that we need to help,” Janza said.
Janza was appointed last week as technical director on the administration side while Mohamed Fathi remains head coach.
