A VIDEO that has gone viral on social media of a woman believed to be a wife of a clergyman and her unidentified boyfriend filming themselves while having sexual encounters has attracted the attention of the Zambia Police.
The leaked video has in the last 48 hours opened the floodgates for discussions on social media among Zambians concerning some immoral behaviour of a woman identified as ‘Amai Busa’.
According to Police public relations officer, Esther Katongo, the video had been brought to the attention of the relevant officers under the cyber unit for investigation.
Ms Katongo said the service’s cybercrime unit would work with the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) to investigate the matter and bring the culprits to book.
“We have brought it to the attention of relevant officers under Cyber unit for investigation,” Ms Katongo said.
According to sources, a locally-made video clip lasting one minute 20 seconds which spread like wildfire on some WhatsApp groups featuring a distinctively identified woman and her lover was accidentally shared by the culprit.
However, according to the laws of Zambia Cap 137 of section 177 (a) of the penal code chapter 87 clearly states that anyone who produces pornography shall be liable and upon conviction may be sentenced to 5 years in jail or a fine or both.
