Few hours after Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili advised the media that he cannot discuss his contract termination as a consultant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the law maker has dropped NDC Secretary General Mwenya Musenge from his position.
Earlier, Mr Musenge had announced the decision by the NDC to run its own affairs without any consultant.
Mr Musenge also announced that Mr Kambwili would no longer speak on behalf of the NDC.
But shortly after appearing at the Lusaka Magistrates Court, Mr Kambwili said party matters are never discussed in the media.
He said those who discuss party matters in the media are foolish.
However, the PF has learnt that Mr Kambwili has moved with speed to remove Mr Musenge from his position.
Mr Kambwili was expelled by the ruling Patriotic Front in 2017.
However, he has kept the Roan Parliamentary seat because of he is challenging the PF action in court.
The disagreement between the two NDC leaders has surfaced in the midst of Mr Kambwili allegedly racially abusing an individual of Indian origin.
NDC insiders have indicated that their party’s central committee will hold a meeting tomorrow.
