Mukwima chilala writes @Sunzambian The football Association of Zambia ( FAZ) has elevated football development manager Lyson Zulu to the position of Technical Director. FAZ General secretary Adrian Kashala who made the announcement at Football house today, said Zulu was the best candidate among the 17 applicants that included two Zambians, former national team coach Honor Janza and Danny Kabwe, former Lusaka Dynamos coach. ” We are pleased to announce the appointment of a technical director, this has been long overdue, our technical director is Lyson Zulu. We had 6 shortlisted candidates among them are two Zambian based,” he said. Prior to joining FAZ, Zulu was programs manager at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC).
The position of FAZ technical director fell vacant after the depature of deputy technical Director Moses Sichone who reaigned in 2018.
